The City of Banning’s Adopt-A-Roadway Program (AARP) was approved by the City Council on October 22, 2019. AARP allows organizations, business, non-profits, families, churches, and individuals to adopt local blocks of streets and keep them litter-free. There are 17 designated streets in Downtown Banning eligible for adoption (see list and map). An adopted roadway is to be cleaned once every 3 months (4 times per year) to maintain a healthy environment. Not only does the City provide all of the tools you may need, but groups will be rewarded with a sign of recognition on their adopted roadway! The Adopt-A-Roadway Program is a wonderful way to give back to your community while enjoying the benefits of cleaner downtown streets.
