Municipal Water and Sewer Service

Municipal Water Service
The City of Banning has been providing high quality drinking water to its residents since 1967. It supplies local groundwater pumped from 22 City-owned wells located in the City's water canyon along with other parts of the City. In addition, the City recently entered into a joint venture agreement with the Cherry Valley Water District to share water from 3 additional wells in Beaumont.

The City is constantly monitoring its supply of water to ensure that it can continue to meet the demands of its growing population.

Municipal Wastewater Service
The Wastewater Utility collects wastewater from homes and businesses in the City and treats the sewage at the City's Wastewater Reclamation Plant. The City is currently in the process of expanding the Plant to provide tertiary treatment of wastewater to use to water golf courses and parkland in the City.
